Sheriann Wilkins, FNP-BC, RN is board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been caring for patients as a nurse for over 20 years. She has a Bachelors of Science (President’s Honors) in Nursing (BSN) and a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Chamberlain University College of Nursing and Public Health and also graduated from the Abington Memorial Hospital Dixon School of Nursing.
Before joining the FPUD family, she worked in the Emergency Department at Methodist Hospital in South Philadelphia for almost a decade. Before that, she spent almost the previous decade caring for patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). While in the Emergency Department, she earned the Daisy Award for Extraordinary
Nurses. For that award, the Daisy Foundation said the following:
“Sheriann cared for the body, the mind, and the spirit. She did what is so easily talked about, but hard to do in the real world. She showed compassion, respect, and passion for what nurses do best, care for our patients and their families in every way possible. Sheriann showed compassion and caring for multiple patients in emergency situations.”
